Public-site analytics
Heavy Duty Builders keeps analytics deliberately minimal and
privacy-friendly. This page covers heavyduty.builders . Everything else is
covered by our
privacy notice

How analytics works
We use Umami, an analytics tool that we host ourselves. It counts page visits and referrers, and does not join them into a visitor profile.
On each visit, Umami hashes the IP address and browser user-agent with a secret that rotates. This lets us count visits without storing the IP address. The resulting identifier changes after each rotation period, so we cannot recognise a visitor across rotation periods.
What we retain
For each analytics session, the database retains approximate location derived from the IP —country, region and city— plus browser, operating system, device type and screen size. We do not store IP addresses.
What we don't do
- No cookies are set, and nothing is stored on your device.
- No data is sold or shared with third-party advertisers.
- We do not track visitors across other sites.
- Because analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, ePrivacy rules do not require consent for it and we do not show a cookie banner.
